Aim:
This session dealing with more understanding and interpreting on beaches and offshore submerged tsunami deposits is presented here and discussed in relation to recently and previously published tsunami studies by using geoarchaeological evidence.
Topics:
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit their work related, but not limited to, the following topics:
1. Paleotsunami deposits on various beaches.
2. Archaeological evidence of paleotsunami events.
3. Submerged paleotsunami deposits.
4. Paleotsunami deposits on lagoons, estuaries and delta environments.
5. Tsunami hazards.
